Getting started
Starting therapy is simpler than you think.
From the first phone call to your child's first session, we keep the process clear, family-centered and focused on your goals.
Free phone consultation
We'll talk about what you're noticing at home or school, answer your questions, and decide together whether an evaluation makes sense. There's no pressure and no obligation.
Evaluation
Jessica will assess your child's strengths and needs through play, observation, standardized tools and caregiver input. You'll receive a clear, family-friendly report with recommendations.
Plan of care
We set goals together, choose a session format (in-home, community-based or clinic-based) and schedule a plan that fits your family's routine.
Sessions begin
Therapy is playful, relationship-based and built around your child's interests. We check in regularly so goals stay relevant and you feel supported between sessions.
Common questions
Do I need a referral from a doctor?
In Florida, you can contact us directly for a free consultation. We can also coordinate with your pediatrician if a referral or prescription is needed for insurance or your records.
Where do sessions happen?
We offer in-home and community-based sessions so therapy fits into real life. We are also building toward a clinic location in Indian Harbour Beach.
How long are sessions?
Most sessions are 50–60 minutes. Evaluations are typically longer and include a written report and follow-up conversation.
What should I bring to the first visit?
Bring any prior evaluations, school reports or medical records you think are relevant. Mostly, we just want your child to be comfortable and ready to play.
What about insurance?
We can discuss your insurance situation during the consultation. We are happy to provide superbills or documentation for out-of-network reimbursement when appropriate.
